School Council

Eastbury Primary School has an energetic and vocal School Council. One councillor from each class (Year 1 - 6) is elected every year in a democratic class vote. Councillors attend regular meetings throughout the year discussing various ideas and issues.

In recent years, the School Council have helped to improve the playground, the dinner menu, been a pupil voice for  wider curriculum subjects and many, many more areas helping Eastbury to be the very best it can be for our learners.

Councillors have had the opportunity to go on school trips to either the Barking Town Hall, City Hall and even the Houses of Parliament. This has allowed our councillors to make links with their role within our school to the wider community, council and country.

Each year, we hope to continue to make positive changes at Eastbury Primary School and ensure that children have a voice, that they are heard and valued.

Have YOU got a good idea? Is there something that YOU would like to improve at Eastbury? Is there something that YOU are not happy about?

Click on the link below and complete the form. The School Council will discuss and consider your idea when they next meet.

Thank you , Mrs Marais (School Council lead)
