At Eastbury Primary school we want to build a culture of reading for enjoyment, to develop a life-long love of reading which could benefit children in so many ways. We want our pupils to love books and reading because this is a skill and activity which enables everyone to succeed both academically and socially. The simple act of reading can help you to acquire independence, self-confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world.
